Star Star is a glam punk band formed in the late 80's. Described as "too punk for rock, and too rock for punk," their dirty, sleaze driven music never crossed over to mainstream success, which could have also been due to the rise of grunge in the early 90's. The band released two albums, "Go Go Girls in Love" and "the Love Drag Years" (as well as the "Science Fiction Boy EP") in the hey day of glam metal, but didn't have the over the top look dominating MTV at the time to match their critically acclaimed music.
